I am at the 5 week count down again. I am also ready for the temps to warm up just slightly. The lows at freezing or below are starting to wear me out. Just some nice mid 40’s and 50’s sound wonderful right now. We’ve had some really pretty weekends lately though. I love when the sun is out and the afternoons are warmer. I was driving around this afternoon with the sun roof open and I love it!
I’m stoked that I have found the strength and commitment to stick to my nutritional goals this go round. I have lost a little of what I gained and I feel good about my choices.
It just proves it doesn’t matter when you start, just do it. Even if yesterday you made a bad choice. You have a new day today.
Training this week:
Sunday: Run 5 miles, pace 10:50
Monday: Rest day
Tuesday: Run 5 miles, 9:55 pace
Wednesday: Gym day, 2 miles of treadmill intervals, arm weights and sauna
Thursday: Run 5 miles, pace 9:02
Friday: Rest day
Saturday: Run 19 miles, 9:18 pace
Had a great run this morning. Dedicated my miles to Meg. I have so much to be thankful for and it was a good time to reflect on that.
We ran around the lake and it’s so peaceful, nothing like catching the sun coming up. And of course, I followed it up with a yummy breakfast with my friend and training partner.
Don’t forget about all the giveaways on the blog!
Did you workout today?
