8 more days until I’m at that starting line. I cannot wait! I have checked the weather and it looks gorgeous right now, just praying it stays that way. This week is either going to be the quickest or slowest week ever.
Training this week:
Sunday: Rest day
Monday: Gym day, very light workout with abs and weights
Tuesday: Elliptical plus abs and arms
Wednesday: 3 miles on the treadmill plus abs and legs
Thursday: 4 miles, .5 mile hill repeats and 2 mile warmup
Friday: Rest day
Saturday: 8 miles, pace 9:00 per mile
I’m feeling good about my training and am ready for race day.
This morning my Moms Run this Town chapter held our winter virtual race. We had 30 moms and several kids running 5k and 10k distances. The weather was great!

We took advantage of the gorgeous afternoon and took Molly to the dog park. And of course I didn’t take any pictures.
Yesterday I had a cookie made for John and Ally to celebrate Valentine’s day and tell them how much I really love them!
