Marathon training is down to the wire. I am 29 days away! 4 weeks from tomorrow. I cannot wait!! I have been ready for this for months.
Training this week:
Sunday: Rest day, and apparently I needed it, I fought a major head ache all day.
Monday: Gym day, elliptical, weights, abs, sauna
Tuesday: Run 5 miles, 9:33 pace
Wednesday: Gym day, 3 miles on the treadmill 9:32 pace, legs and sauna
Thursday: Gym day, 2 miles on the treadmill 9:46 pace, weights, abs. I did my first set of wall balls too!
Friday: Rest day
Saturday: 13 miles, 9:20 pace. We did some crazy hills today. Not sure if you can tell in the picture but that was hill #3 and it was a killer. And my hubby really loves me, that’s homemade biscuits and gravy and bacon….
I don’t have anything too exciting planned for this weekend, but I’m ok with that. I prefer the low key weekends. I have laundry and vacuuming I’m sure I could do….(that’s no fun!)
