January Jumpstart: Day 13, Goals Check + Giveaway

Welcome to day 13 of January Jumpstart! It’s Monday, let’s make this a great week. Did you stay on course this weekend? If not, it’s ok, today is a new day. We get another chance. I’m starting the week with Goals Check.

  • I logged food every single day so far.
  • Down 1.4 pounds since January 1!
  • Water intake has been pretty good.
  • No fast food for lunch since December 30 and only once for dinner so far.

    January 13th: I skipped going to the gym this morning, needed rest. I did go to the gym yesterday (Sunday) and did a workout and focused on abs and arms. Wished I had measured myself when I started this on January 1 but I am down 1 pound and feel good about that. I had one moment of weakness recently and ate more than my fair share of Chex Mix, of all things, but got right back on track. Plan to write down what I eat everyday today going forward.

      Just start fresh and keep going. Take your measurements now, it’s half way through. You will still see progress.

  2. Got on the treadmill yesterday for the first time in 3 months! I know – so sad. But I have been outside walking a couple times. We just moved and then had a houseguest for a month – plus the holidays! I def am geared up to get back into shape!

    Not working out today. I work third shift and today starts my four day rotation. Will start back in four days. Looking to change my diet and juicing.

    I worked out at home–I’m trying to be better about cross-training, so I did planks, situps, etc. I just stick my ID in a pocket, usually~

    So far you are doing great with your goals. The not eating out is especially hard when you work, so AWESOME!!! for that. On my goals, I have logged my food and have worked out, run or walked everyday last week and plan the same for this week. The food is the hardest and will always be, but I will continue to work on that, but it was better than it has been, so I will take the little steps. Thinking seriously of getting a fitbit to help motiviate a little more. Have a great and successful week.

    I stick my id in my arm band that holds my iPhone. Getting ready to work out now. Short run in preparation for my long run tomorrow in honor of Meg!
