I will weigh and measure Friday this week. I try to do that on a day I’m not working out. It’s too hard to weigh and measure at 4:30 in the morning before heading out for a run. You don’t have to do that, but it will help track your progress.
I’ll admit I have not gotten on the scale in over a month. I know that it’s just a number, but that number has gone up and I’m afraid of it.
A few goals of mine this month:
- Track food in My Fitness Pal
- Drink my water!
- Work on my core
- No fast food for lunch. This has to be taken a week at a time. It’s a hard one for me.
- Try something new
Our first giveaway starts today! We have 1 pair of Swiftwick pink compression socks to give away, size Medium. I love compression socks and Swiftwick is one of my favorites! I really believe in compression for support during a run or workout and recovery after. They boost blood flow which aids is muscle recovery after a hard workout. I also think the socks help with shin pain, but I haven’t found anything solid on that. The socks are tight, but not uncomfortable. They are moisture wicking, which all your workout clothes should be. If you are working out in cotton t-shirts you should try moisture wicking clothes just once! They also prevent blisters.

It’s a gym day for me today. I need to get back to working on my bench press. I got side tracked during (the first round of) marathon training.
