It’s FRIDAY! That’s definitely on my list of favorite things!
It’s also Day 18 of our challenge, it’s the last day to enter for this week’s giveaways. We will announce the winners tomorrow.
Today is also normally a rest day but I got up and stretched and will foam roll this evening. I figured I was good since I worked out twice yesterday. I am loving yoga!
I thought I’d share a few of my favorite things with you. Some I’ve used for a while, some I just found!
- Compression socks
- Nike In-Season Trainer Shoe (it has memory foam in it!) These are my gym shoes.
- Honey Stinger Organic energy chews. LOVE these! Eat them before, during or after exercise.
- Bondi Band, these are great year round. They keep hair back and keep sweat from running down your face. I also discovered they can keep my ears warm!
- Nike Training App
- Nuun
- Handana (seriously love this thing!)
- Yurbuds
- Foam roller
My foot is feeling really good today, I’m still planning on 6 miles tomorrow. Gotta get in gear for Cowtown, it’s coming up February 24!

Today I ran 3.76 miles. At a pretty good clip. 🙂 kept a 10.28 pace without feeling like that was too fast. So excited to be getting back to my regular pace! 🙂

Rest day
Knees doing great… Didn’t even think about them. It was my students who reprimanded me for climbing on top of the barstool to rehang a poster!
