#30DayHomies Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of our challenge! It’s my first day back at work from being on vacation and I’m already ready for the weekend.

The winner of the 3M Reflective Happy Band from Running Happy on Day 1 was Alisha Bridges.  Don’t forget the giveaways this week are in Day 2! There is a tumbler from Havasu Decals and 4 pair of Swiftwick Compression socks!

My workout today was 30 minutes on the elliptical, a 1:15 plank and lots of arms and back weights. My legs are sore from yesterday’s Nike leg workout.

Yesterday was What I Ate  (and did) Wednesday but since the post had to get published before dawn I will update you today. We went to the Perot Museum of Science and Nature and it was AWESOME! We got a family membership for Christmas so we will be going a lot.  The dinosaurs and Sports Hall were my favorite.

Breakfast was bagel thins with peanut butter and banana, and I remembered to take my multi-vitamin. Lunch was bad, almost non existent. Got to the museum at noon and sorta missed lunch so then we needed a snack and ended up with expensive french fries. Not a good lunch. But I redeemed myself at dinner ~ oven baked chicken, Barilla Plus rotini pasta with a light sauce, with tomatoes, carrots, peas and red bell pepper. It was pretty good!

I found this great 15 minute no equipment workout on Women’s Health Magazine. I’m going to try it out tonight.

We have a great offer from Bulu Box for 3 months for the price of 2. That’s $20 for 3 months. They send sample packets of all kinds of supplements, vitamins, weight loss, energy, herbs, natural remedies just to name a few. You’ll need the promotion code JUMPONIT3.

What was your workout today? Try anything new?

Today was all about arm strength. Tricep dips, skull crushers, pushups, plank holds and my nemesis – Chaturanga. If I have energy after work, I’m going to start easing into C25k.
