What I Ate (and did) Wednesday

Today is the last day I have “off” from work to get things done before Christmas. I don’t have too much left to buy, just a few little things, ie. stocking stuffers. I started the morning with a trip to a Sports Doc/Chiropractor, never been to one before. My knee has been bugging me so I wanted to see if it could be helped. Good news is, it’s not badly damaged just maybe a knee brace when running, some leg strengthening exercises and stretching. I did get my neck worked on too, never been “adjusted” before…ouch!

My office lunch party is today, we have our dinner Friday with spouses. Today we exchange presents and have lunch.

Guess what I had for breakfast? I’ll spare you the picture of the Bagel, peanut butter and banana.

I’m doing my errands today in my awesome new Moms RUN This Town t-shirt. I love it! If you aren’t familiar with MRTT, check us out here. We are a free nation-wide running club for moms. Chances are there’s a chapter near you!

Ally’s Christmas (holiday) party is at school tomorrow, so she requested my favorite yummiest banana cake, minus the icing. So, I have been baking this morning. The recipe is here. It’s so good. The icing alone has a stick of butter and 4 cups of powdered sugar in it! I will be restraining myself from eating it while she’s at school today!

I completely forgot to take a picture of lunch. So, I’ll tell you what I ate ~ Chicken salad, fruit salad, chicken enchilada dip, chips, crackers and a very, very small cherry pie. It was seriously about 2 bites! ┬áThen I headed out for some more errands!

Dinner was grilled chicken quesadillas on fat free flour tortillas. Love them!

I did manage to make it to the gym, did a short cardio workout, then weights and plank and ab work.

The next few days are going to be insane! My husband’s 40th birthday is this weekend, so tomorrow we have dinner with his parents, Friday my work dinner, Saturday is date night, Sunday we have another family gathering, then it’s Christmas Eve! I am going to try really hard to eat as best as I can and get some running and gym time in there.
